The Quarter 7 project meeting was held on 7th November 2019 at the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University of London. All UK partners updated their project progress, with Quarter 7 deliverables from both the UK and China partners all delivered on time. During Quater 7, the UK side have finished the optimisation of object searching algorithms. Meanwhile, the Chinese partners (Sanleng and NJUST) have finished the commercial demostration system in Jiangsu Province. The project progress is on track and further work will be discussed in the last quarterly meeting in February 2020.

The Quarter 6 project meeting was held on 20th August 2019 at the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University of London. All UK partners updated their project progress, with Quarter 6 deliverables from both the UK and China partners all delivered on time. During Quater 6, the UK side have finished vehicle search algorithm, and integrated it into a unified framework with detection and tracking algorithms. Meanwhile, the Chinese partners (Sanleng and NJUST) have a greate progress on some commercial projects. The project progress is on track and further work will be discussed in the next quarterly meeting in November 2019.

The Quarter 5 project meeting was held on 15th May 2019 at the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University of London. All UK partners updated their project progress, with Quarter 5 deliverables from both the UK and China partners all delivered on time. During Quater 5, the UK side have finished vehicle detection, tracking algorithms, and integrated them into a unified framework. Meanwhile, the Chinese partners (Sanleng and NJUST) have completed their research work on human abnormal event detection and progressed on some commercial projects. The project progress is on track and further work will be discussed in the next quarterly meeting in August 2019.

The Quarter 4 project meeting was held on 6th February 2019 at the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University of London. All UK partners updated their project progress, with Quarter 4 deliverables from both the UK and China partners all delivered on time. During Quater 4, the UK side have finished person detection, tracking and search algorithms, and integrated them into a unified framework. The project progress is on track and further progress will be discussed in the next quarterly meeting in the middle of May 2019.

The Quarter 3 project meeting was held on 29th October 2018 at the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University of London. All UK partners updated their project progress, with Quarter 3 deliverables from both the UK and China partners all delivered on time. The UK project team also shared a summary of the annual project meeting in Nanjing, China between 15th and 16th October. The project progress is on track and further progress will be discussed in the next quarterly meeting at the beginning of February 2019.

The Quarter 2 project meeting was held on 14th August 2018 on the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University of London. All UK partners presented their progress update. Quarter 2 deliverables from both the UK and China partners were delivered on time. The project progress was on track. Further progress will be discussed in the next quarterly meeting in the end of October 2018. The UK project teams will attend the annual project meeting in Nanjing this October and share the meeting details with the UK project officer in the quarterly meeting.

The Quarter 1 project meeting was held on 9th May 2018 on the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University of London. All UK partners (VSL and QMUL) gave the presentations on their progress update. VSL showed demo videos of the system testing, which look promising. Quarter 1 deliverables from both the UK and China partners were delivered on time. The project progress was on track. Further progress will be discussed in the next quarterly meeting in August 2018.

On 1st February 2018, all partners of the project consortium attended the Innovate UK kick-off meeting in London. Queen Mary University of London, Vision Semantics Ltd, Nanjing Science and Technology University and Jiangsu Sanleng Smart City & IOT System Co. Ltd gave an introduction of their organisations. As the UK project lead organisation, Vision Semantics also gave a presentation on the project overview and their plan on project management. The meeting concluded with a general discussion between all partners and the Innovate UK project officer.
